Our Story

In operation since 1999, Heavywood suffered a devastating loss in June of 2014 when a catastrophic fire destroyed the manufacturing facility. Everything was lost but with great determination the HeavyWood Furniture legacy carried on. After 20 years of trusted customer service, another chapter in the HeavyWood legacy began in 2015 with new ownership and the development of another manufacturing facility. Flat Creek Capital, LLC purchased HeavyWood and relocated it to the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.

“Rainbow House wanted to work with a company that was professional, prompt, and would provide good quality furniture that would last for many years to come. Our experience working with the team at Heavy Wood Furniture was just that…..professional, prompt, and the furniture is holding up well.”
